Shipping policy
Regular Orders (parts)
Any parts order under $400.00 is shipped freight collect and billed according to our fixed rate table by region. If you would like shipping charges billed to your Purolator, Dicom, Loomis, or any other carrier account, please let us know and provide your account number. Any order (parts only) with a delivered merchandise total exceeding $400.00 (before taxes) will be shipped prepaid freight by the carrier of our choice.
Backordered Parts Orders
Backordered parts are handled separately from regular orders and benefit from an adapted shipping policy:
- Backorders (BOs) on eligible parts are shipped at our expense when the combined total of shipments to the same customer reaches $200.00.
- If the combined total of BOs is under $200.00, items are held and grouped until the threshold is reached, unless otherwise indicated on your order.
Exclusions
Prepaid freight will not be granted under any circumstances on oils/fuel, chemical products, air tanks, electric motors, or pumps. Prepaid freight does not apply to oversized products/units. These exclusions apply to regular orders only — BOs covered under this policy apply to eligible parts only.
Additional Charges
- Orders under $25.00: $10.00 handling fee
- Dangerous goods: pallet/parcel + $40.00
- Additional pallet in the same order: $75.00 each
- Motors and oversized/non-standard units: on request
- Tailgate and other charges: extra
- Additional charges may apply on bulky products (boxes over 31'' or high volume-to-weight ratio)
- Unless otherwise specified, shipments are made by the means deemed most advantageous
- If we get a freight surcharge for any reason in your control (appointment, waiting period, etc.), said surcharge will be invoiced to you.
